Phebe fell during afternoon nap on the wooden platform. Raymond mentioned in the morning that she was able to wriggle her way though. I brushed it off as I thought it was a isolated incident. Never did I know she was already creeping at 9weeks old. Putting her on our queen bed is way to dangerous now. I'm glad she is receptive to the playyard. *Cross fingers* She's been sleeping in it for the past two days without much complains... Finally the bed which was purchased for Ryan is being put to good use by Phebe..
Talking about her motor skills development, before she reached 8weeks, she was already able to lift her head pretty much using her wrists and by 9weeks she is able to lift her head and hands off the surface putting all weight on her palms. Good that she is developing well but scary that she is trying all sorts of stunts at such a young age.
I fear that it might be too straining on her bones. Hope she does not over stretch causing a bad reaction.
Comparing to Ryan who started using ERGO at approximately 4mths old with slight difficulty, Phebe is already sitting in ERGO with slight difficulty at 2mths.
I remember only trying various positions with Ryan on ERGO after he turned 6mths as his head was only stable after 5mths. But Phebe was already standing in ERGO for long periods of time w/o complains.
I tried sitting her in after a long day and she complains. Therefore i put her in standing position and she is happy and calm.
I believe she understands our adult conversations. She is babbling already. She called "deh dee"3x rather distinctively this morning... Perhaps due to work schedule she gets annoyed when she doesn't see the person before bedtime.
This morning she was quarrelling with Raymond and refusing him to carry. Similar situation was when Raymond went for 5 days biz trip. She couldn't sleep for the first night. Subsequently she slept well. Surprisingly she woke up exceptionally early on Friday morning as if she knew her daddy was returning on that day. After he came back, she totally rejected Raymond for two days... After some negotiation she was back to normal.
I hope this gal will be less 小辣椒 as she grows.
